Office and Retail Space
Ensuring that residents of Black Diamond can work where they live is indispensable to creating a healthy community, which is why The Villages and Lawson Hills include approximately 1.2 million square feet for commercial, office, retail and light industrial uses. The Villages features commercial development in the Village Center, which will include small shops and restaurants around a central plaza with offices above.
A strong connection to the commercial area north of the Village Center, across Auburn-Black Diamond Road, will help bolster weekday activity. This area will offer small-to-medium-size office opportunities, as well as potential sites for civic uses. Portions of both The Villages and Lawson Hills are planned for larger office, retail and industrial uses. We expect the variety of spaces will be ideal for helping future entrepreneurs meet the needs of the growing community.
