YarrowBay is committed to working closely with the Enumclaw School District, parents, citizens and the City of Black Diamond to assure land is available for schools as the community grows. This collaboration includes an agreement between Yarrowbay, the City of Black Diamond and the Enumclaw School District. The three parties reached a formal agreement for YarrowBay to provide up to seven school sites including a high school, elementary schools and middle schools. This school agreement is another way in which YarrowBay has committed to reducing the impacts of its MPD population growth in the region.
Moreover, YarrowBay has chosen to go beyond paying school mitigation fees by committing to convey property directly to the Enumclaw School District for new school sites.
